Tamsin Waley-Cohen: Rising Star

Described by The Times as a violinist “who held us rapt in daring and undaunted performances” and by the Guardian as a performer of “fearless intensity”. Tamsin is the only British artist selected for the prestigious European Concert Halls Organisation’s “Rising Stars’ programme for 2016/17 season. Chosen by Birmingham’s Town Hall Symphony Hall, she will embark on a tour of Europe’s most prestigious concert halls next season. Recent highlights including working with orchestras such as the London Philharmonic, Royal Philharmonic, BBC Concert Orchestra, Budapest Philharmonic to name a few and collaborations with conductors such as Andrew Litton, Tamas Vasary and Jose Serebrier with performances taking her across Europe, New Zealand and the USA. Tamsin is a Signum Artist for Signum Records as well as being the Artistic Director for the Sunday Series at London’s Tricycle Theatre.
